At a month old, my aerogarden is thriving. Compare the growth from even just a week ago:
I never do a good job at regular pruning and of course my basil grew into the lights (see burn victims below). Despite the poor parenting, I was able to harvest enough lemon basil for the sauce accompanying tonight’s dinner of tilapia, and a bunch of basil to infuse into the olive oil for salad dressing.
I’m not quite sure how to harvest the globe basil (short plant on the back right of the top photo) and the dill (front right of the same photo) so I will let those be for now.
