Toying with Art is a juried exhibition, featuring more than 40 works by more than 20 artists, ranging from miniature carvings to large assemblages. From the replica of a bridge created in LEGOs® to mind boggling, miniature carvings on the tip of a pencil, this exhibition explores the icons of childhood as artistic media and combines diverse styles and components into a stunningly inventive, nostalgic and vivid display.
Looks like a trip to the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ is in my future, since this exhibit closes March 13. If you are a puzzle lover like me, another exhibit, Museum Mindbenders, may also be worth checking out. It closes January 20.
